Friday, October 18th- Collection for Breast Cancer- Please meet 2 min before the end of the 1st quarter. We will have buckets for you to pass out. You and a partner will be assigned to an area in the stands. You will go up one side, your partner up the other side. You start at the top. You hand the bucket to a fan and ask that they help donate and pass the bucket to their neighbor...making sure the bucket is being handed across a row then down. Like church collection! Once you are done at the bottom of the bleachers, you come back to Mrs. Beck to turn in your bucket. That is IT!
Turn in your Carson's booklets ASAP if possible. Want them back before we leave for fall break! I will be contacting you personally next week.

Rake-N-Run date is set for Sunday, November 10th @ 1:00. Meet in front of high school. You will need to bring a rake, leave blower, gloves, tarps. This is a hard working project, but we get very generous donations for RILEY! It is an awesome cause!
Saturday, November 2nd- 8-10 people to help serve soft drinks at the VFW 75th Anniversary semi-formal dinner. Please sign up if you are interested.

September 22nd- Holy Family Picnic- We have lots of help with the runners for carry out dinners and working the drink stand. Shifts are filled and a big thank you. Please remember, you sign up, you SHOW UP.

Fifth Street Carnival- Friday April 12th from 5-8 at Fifth Street in the gym; need help running games and other activities. We have shifts and you should be ready to go work. thanks for all your help! And put your cell or email down so a reminder can be sent!
April 14th- Highway clean up set at 1:00- bowling alley! Please write this down and attend! This SUNDAY!
April 21st 1-3- meet at the gazeebo at the Riverwalk 1:00- help plant flowers up by the bridge area. Don't forget to bring gloves and hand shovels to help plant.
April 24th- Key Club banquet at 6:30 in the JHS cafe. Its short and sweet and nice to be recognized for all your hard work!

This is the story of a small mouse's walk through the woods and his use of cunning to evade danger. Along his walk, he encounters a fox, an owl, and a snake, each who wish to make a meal of him. He cleverly convinces them not to eat him by telling them about his friend, a Gruffalo, whose favorite food happens to be...a fox, an owl, or a snake. This works very well until he actuall meets The Gruffalo! Based on the popular children's story by Julia Donaldson, this performance is played by the English company Tall Stories.
***Mardi Gras Party- Friday, February 8, 2013- 7:00-8:30 need workers at Precious Blood gym by 6:30- report to Kathy Wolf and learn the game you will be in charge of. (2-3 friends can work together at a game)
