Friday, November 1st Key Club meeting

This Saturday, November 2nd- help out at the VFW for their dinner.  5:30-9:30.  We would like to have two hour shifts. 5:30-7:30- serve and refill drinks; 7:30-9:30- clean up dishes & help serve cake and coffee. 

Sunday, November 10th- Rake n Run @ 1:00- meet out front of JHS-  please bring your rakes, tarps, gloves, leaf blowers. 

Tuesday, November 12th- 5th period- Kiwanis lunch 12:00-1:00-  we go up to the VFW (in the dining hall) and eat Fried chicken and the board members will speak to the Kiwanis members about Key Club

Sunday, November 24th- District Council Meeting- @ 2:00-  LGI

Sunday, December 8th- New Toy Drive @ 1:00- in Community Room- buy a $10.00 toy (you and a partner) come to wrap it and donate to Tri-Cap Healthy Families. 

Salvation Army Bell Ringing- Dec 6-7; 13-14; 20-21- Ring the bell for salvation army outside of Walmart- 1 1/2 hr shifts.

Friday, October 18th-  Collection for Breast Cancer-  Please meet 2 min before the end of the 1st quarter.  We will have buckets for you to pass out.  You and a partner will be assigned to an area in the stands.  You will go up one side, your partner up the other side.  You start at the top.  You hand the bucket to a fan and ask that they help donate and pass the bucket to their neighbor...making sure the bucket is being handed across a row then down.  Like church collection!  Once you are done at the bottom of the bleachers, you come back to Mrs. Beck to turn in your bucket.  That is IT! 

Turn in your Carson's booklets ASAP if possible.  Want them back before we leave for fall break!  I will be contacting you personally next week.

 Rake-N-Run date is set for Sunday, November 10th @ 1:00.  Meet in front of high school.  You will need to bring a rake, leave blower, gloves, tarps.  This is a hard working project, but we get very generous donations for RILEY!  It is an awesome cause! 

Saturday, November 2nd-  8-10 people to help serve soft drinks at the VFW 75th Anniversary semi-formal dinner.  Please sign up if you are interested.

  
ELIMINATE and UNICEF club-  October 30th- 5:30 pizza, leaving at 6:00.  If interested let me or Maddy P. know.

October 27th- 4:30-6:00- Holy Family trick or treating

Nov 11th-14th Key Club week; Tuesday, Nov 12th- Key Club attends the Kiwanis lunch at noon.

March of Dimes-  walk is this Sunday.  If you signed up, please show up.  at highschool football field.  be there about 11:30-  lasts until approx. 2:30.  You will help with duties around the stadium.  Madi Robling will be there along with our Kiwanis President Steffi Schmuecker. 

ELIMINATE-  we will be selling DONUTS in November.....these profits will go to our ELIMINATE PROJECT.

Rescheduled Highway clean-up-  This Sunday, October 6th @ 1:00.  Meet at EastTown Lanes Bowling Alley.  Will last approx. 45 min.  Please wear appropriate shoes...pizza after.  Class Representatives, please get a sign up sheet going to see who can make it.

Collection for Eliminate-  UNICEF project with Key Club/Kiwanis International
Friday, October 18th-  home football game. 
Need people to hand out fliers before the game explaining what we are collecting for and when.  And need people to go around at the end of the 1st quarter and pass the buckets throughout the stand. 

Rake-N-Run....Huge project for Riley! As soon as those leaves fall, we will set a date......please stay tuned....approx. beg/mid November on Sunday....starts at 1:00-  lasts a couple hours, but this is the most REWARDING project you will ever do! 

December-  every Fri and Saturday ring bell for Salvation Army. 

October 14-18th-  donuts being sold in the morning... proceeds go breast cancer (October is PINK month/breast cancer awareness).
